Re: How do i Wash my Frizzle??

I would think it would be the same as any other bird.  I don't know if their feathers require any special care.  Make sure you're gentle.  You don't want to  bend any of those pretty feathers.

There's other people with frizzles here.  I hope they offer you some tips and advice.

Hi Chickling. You should be completely fine. Especially with your experience of washing a silkie. Just be gentle and I would say blow dry the feathers in the opposite direction and you should have a frizzle the size of a hot air balloon by the time you're done.

Re: How do i Wash my Frizzle??

I had to bathe mine when I brought her inside to do a hatch for me ,
lets say she walked under the roost at the wrong time - Ewww!

I dried her feathers on the low setting with the blow dryer in the opposite direction they grew and she came out super fluffy
she looked great !  Takes quite a while especially under the legs but the sat quietly on a towel on my lap and
seemed to enjoy the warm breeze.
