Understanding Abbreviations

Here is a partial list of some of the most common abbreviations in regards to poultry.  Let's add to this list and hopefully we will have a complete list one day.  I would rather that no discussion posts are made, just additions to the list.  I will make this a sticky so it will be easy to find.

Amer = Ameraucana
Andy = Blue Andalusian
BBB = Broad Breasted Bronze
BLR= Blue Laced Red
BLRW = Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
BPR= Barred Plymouth Rock
BR = Bourbon Red
BSW = Beltsville Small White
Chantie =  Chantecler
CL = Clean Legged
EO = Euskal Oiloa
FL = Feather Legged
GLC = Gold Laced Cochin
GLW = Gold Laced Wyandotte
LF= Large Fowl
LS = Light Sussex
Narry = Narraganset
NHR = New Hampshire Red
NN = Naked Neck
OEG = Old English Game
Orp =  Orpington
PC = Pea Comb
RC = Rose Comb
RIR = Rhode Island Red
RP = Royal Palm
SC= Single Comb
SLC = Silver Laced Cochin
SLW = Silver Laced Wyandotte
Spitzy = Appenzeller (Silver Spangled) Spitzhauben
SS = Speckled Sussex
SSH = Silver Spangled Hamburg
WCBP = White Crested Black Polish
WFBS = White Faced Black Spanish

NN= Naked Neck

I've seen "LF Cornish" a fair bit--my best guess is "Large Fowl"?

BCM  black/blue copper marans  and I use BOE for my blue olive egger, I actually use BLCM for blue copper marans  :confused:
