Crele patterned chickens wanted (one of two)

I meant one or two in the title.
Does anyone have any bantam OEG chickens or others in the pattern for sale in my area?

Thank ewe.

The OEG bantam is a popular breed in crele.

I think EOs come in crele.  You may want to talk to Susan.

Re: Crele patterned chickens wanted (one of two)

appway, thanks, but I am not too excited about hatching or brooding chicks and would rather find someone who has a pullet or two to spare, if I can.

Nice pictures, Schipperkesue! Thanks. and yes, that is what I am looking for. What breed is the first picture you posted? It looks like a rooster, and in the second picture, the hens do not have as pretty of feathers. I wonder if there is a breed that the hens have pretty feathers too?

Those would be Bielfelder.  A German breed.

Why, that would be an OEG bantam, the breed you requested in your first post.  The picture was chosen at random from the net, a practice that is not always accurate as pointed out by Gubi!

I don't know much about the hens.  I am sure if you did a google image search you could see what they look like.

Re: Crele patterned chickens wanted (one of two)

Our EO's come in a variety of colours at this point still.  Some look alot like crele.  The one closest is the Marraduna colour which is red cuckoo Colombian, but a lot of ours have grey chests still which makes the males colour look a lot like the Bielefelder rooster in that picture.  They have diffrent type then the Bielefelders too.

And the hens, Gubi?  Are they as flashy as the roosters?

Re: Crele patterned chickens wanted (one of two)

The hens are not even close to the roosters as being flashy. The OEG my daughter has looks kinda like a Dorking color. I think it is called silver duckwing color? They are still pretty but the roos are amazing.
