My new spinning cart!

Woot, woot! Check out my new Spinning Cart!

I found the TV cart with castors at the transfer station (dump) for free. I bought a dollar store shoe bag, cut it in half, and fastened each half to the sides with dollar store plastic door hooks. A couple chunks of 2”x 2" raise the drum carder to make it useable. It is bolted to the cart with a couple long bolts. I cut a chunk out of the side so I could attach the wooden winder and a chunk of hardwood allows me to attach the ball winder to the drum carder. Finally, the most expensive part was the bins. The whole thing cost me $20 total!

I think I will splurge on a little paint and turn it tangerine!

That worked out great.  What is garbage to one person is a great treasure to another.
Good find and great work re-purposing it

Re: My new spinning cart!

I bought paint this weekend.  Tangerine.  It will match nicely with my turquoise spinning chair.  Pictures to come!

Like "transfer station", I used to dread it when DH went to the dump, usually brought as much back as he dropped off. ;)

When I saw the titled, I pictured something like this.  I imagined you riding about with your equipment calling, "Bring out your wool!"
