Spin-in!

I am getting ready to head out to Drayton Valley.  I have organized a Spin-in at the local library.  This was preceded by creating a Facebook group called "Central Alberta Rural Spinners" less than a month ago.  The group has almost 100 members now, and I am hoping several will show up to spin.

This all started with a feeling of isolation and wondering how I could meet like minded people in this area.  But how do you find them?

Well, I am a determined person and found a solution to my needs!

I will let you know how this turns out.

Re: Spin-in!

How exciting! SO you're all going to meet in the library with your spinning wheels and bags of wool? I'm trying to picture this being fun ...  sounds dangerous.

Re: Spin-in!

We came, we saw, we spun!

The librarians were delighted, and took pictures.

This is one of mine.  Turns out the lady on the right lives only a mile from me!  Whodathunkit?
