Muscovy ducklings

I said before no more "chicks"  but I knew this muscovy hen was on a nest under the water tank.  She bought out 11 babies.  I locked her in a pen for a day to make sure they bonded then she flew out which I expected and called babies out a crack in the wall and took them outside.  Ducklings are so much tougher than chicks.  Yesterday it was only about 14c and raining but they were outside having a  grand time.

Such cute babies!  Good momma for getting them used to having their feet wet early :D

PEOPLE WHO COUNT THEIR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY HATCH ARE VERY WISE, FOR CHICKENS RUN ABOUT SO ABSURDLY THAT YOU CAN'T COUNT THEM OTHERWISE. smile :D
