Big storm

Looks to be a doozy already. Winds are high, going to get higher. Gusts up to 125km with heavy snow, and on the off chance too, freeing rain. Got my buckets filled for livestock and toilets. Stay safe maritimers

Re: Big storm

I've been watching the news and it looks like you are headed for one heck of a storm.  Batten down the hatches and get some water saved for when the power goes out.  Take care!!

Thinking of you and hoping you and your family and animals stay safe and warm. This storm sounds terrifying.

Re: Big storm

How are you doing Journeys End?  Good here.  Had supper early while we still had power to cook, then the power has stayed on.  Lots of power dips, but still on.
Hubby made it off to work, and the road cameras seem to say the roads are passable.

Re: Big storm

No outages here yet. Winds are gusting to 100 now and I need to go feed in 10 minutes. It's going to be an ice rink when it goes below 0 again.

Still have digging out to do.  The snow is quite heavy but other areas got hit much worse than us.
