Friend to 1 house cat, 2 long-haired mini dachshunds, several outside cats, one guard dog, a few Dorking chickens, several  Isa Brown laying hens, some mutt chickens and 3 mules.  Jobs include gardener and assistant bee keeper.

Just curious because we are thinking of raising sheep in the future. How popular are the dorper sheep and do they sell easily? I like the idea of not having to shear sheep every spring. My daughter has a dorper cross lamb for 4h this year and I like how calm it is and the size.

We had a flock of dorpers for about 6 years. We also had some east friesans too, I like them all. Dorpers were robust.
Meat sheep, in my experience are pretty easy to sell.
