Dropping in from out Souris way!

I was obsessively searching the Internet last night for chicken resources in Canada when i ran across this forum. After creeping around posts and realizing there's a pace for islanders and its not exclusive to just Alberta i figured i would hang up my creeping cloak and join.

I'm up between Souris and St. Peters. Love it here.

I'm on the hunt for Black Orpingtons? Is there such a beast on the island? Or elsewhere in Canada?

Also, in reviewing old posts i noticed a few folks looking for white African geese in Canada over the years, but i did not ascertain that any were ever found? Are there white African geese available anywhere in Canada? I would also be grateful to purchase hatching eggs of these.

Welcome from just outside of Wellington. Unfortunately, most of the time if you want anything special you'll have to get it off island. Not a lot of selection here.

There are black Orpingtons in Alberta.  Give me a while and I will remember who has them.  Was it Jonny Anvil?

Schipperkesue, thank you so much for taking the time to look that up for me. I really appreciate it. I will take a wander over there and look.
