Re: Hello from Edmonton

:welcome: to the forum.  I lived in Edmonton almost 10 years ago and did so for almost 30 years.  Glad to have you join us.  Please take a moment and fill in your location in your profile.  It helps, especially when seeking information or as in your case, birds.  :D  That way you don't have to add your location in every thread you post.  Good Luck with your search.  There are many many many alberta members and am sure someone will be able to help you find the birds you seek for your flock.  I too am an "urban farmer" with a small flock of hens.  Again, welcome to the forum.  .thumbsup.

Re: Hello from Edmonton

:hi: from Waterloo Ontario and Welcome to the forum.   We started out as "urban farmers" as well.  Raised poultry for meat and for eggs in the middle of a subdivision.  We kept the birds in the area behind the pool cabana.  We build an extension on the cabana and used half for our show pigeons and the other half for nest boxes for the hens.  Never had an issue with the neighbours in almost 8 years.  We bought this farm 9 years ago.  I cant imagine not having poultry in our lives.
