Re: Mine

Into my night falling
Again to find true
Search that unseen
lost but to you

Ever in my searching
The heavens so near
But among many
To remain still unclear

These whispers distant
Ever silently call
Then once more heard
From heaven i fall

There to search ever
Start once more
For lost among many
That which i adore

Again sweetly taken
Silence calling
Blind eyes searching
darkness falling

Whispers fall silent
No longer heard
Standing among many
Sight again blurred

But for on Ravens wings i take flight ever higher into this my night

Re: Mine

..........Deeper..................

Cut me deep so i bleed
To be remembered in need
There but a sign you'll find
For i left this mark behind
Each drop a part see as me
Ever as into memory I'll be

Cut me deep let me die
In silence under your sky
There to find a sign as mine
A distant silence  lost in time
In tears but to touch surrender
Search there to ever remember

Cut me deeper mark my soul
Into time as never growing old
Find me shelter where tears grow
There breath my name and know
For i remain within drops as they fall
There in memory i answer your call

Re: Mine

Inspiration has been fleeting as of late but words cross constantly and sometimes they grab ahold and then it comes together , writers block is frustrating as this is one of my ways of expressing what holds my heart these days ........hope it comes across as such

.....Ever.......

Ever i am as an old soul
Into my time i will go on
Past battles lost and won
Through the ages i come

Within reach i ever search
This calling ever my voice
A love deep held in memory
There to wander to destiny

As each ending but return
This journey to walk again
Bound by heart ever follow
Once more as old into new

Alone till once more to meet
Upon paths unknown in time
Again live on borrowed moments
then onto endless journeys return

Re: Mine

Silent Eyes

Walk amongst time and remember
For  there in remains what you seek
Statues frozen left to gaze forgotten
Into these eyes fall silent once more

Walk amongst shadows fallen still
Therein  familiar voices again resound
Surrounded but unseen ever haunting
In darkness gaze unseen seen again

Walk amongst memories ever faded
Again dream with open eyes teared
Silences echos touched ever a hush
Once more lost amongst silent eyes

Re: Mine

Not sure what this would be called .......maybe a moment caught ? something i play with as well

Did you ever dream of an end  ? a life , a lost love  , a journey ,   ? There where all your emotions take hold of you and suddenly you have no control .You simply stand there and every conceivable emotion converges at the same time and there isn't a thing you can do but take it or break .These are the hardest lessons to learn and the hardest to understand for how can one hurt from something you loved and held so dearly .........but you do and you learn .....and in time they become in the spaces of your heart as memories ......a reminder of a time before when in this messed up world there was that , the one thing that at that moment made the rest disappear and in that moment you smiled.........and the memories keep you alive for they surround you

Re: Mine

Really enjoyed Silent Eyes - as the acreage we live on was originally a fairly large homestead settled in the early 1900's and looks a lot differently than it was at the very beginning, I often wander among the hand planted forest around the property and imagine the original owners viewing it and imagining the possibilities as they worked on it.  I hope they would be pleased with the work hubby & I are doing to revive it after many, many years of neglect.

Reading your work in progress poem, the thought of a painful smile, bittersweet smile (something along that line) came to mind.  I am sure I'm not the only one that has been through a painful loss and came out the other side thankful that the relationship did indeed happen as painful as it was to lose.

Re: Mine

You have the ability to touch heart, mind and soul.  I deeply enjoy your writings.  They need to be shared with more than us here on ACE.

It's like you are within us and can feel what we feel, then you are able to put words to that feeling.

Thank you.
